1. Pursuant to DepEd Order No. 42 s. 2016 -
Policy Guidelines on Daily Lesson
Preparation for the K to 12 Basic Education Program provides a legal basis oflesson
plarl preparation for the basic education. It indicates the necessity of lesson planning
as a critical part of the teaching and leaming process which serves as a guide for
instruction and contains details of what a teacher and leamer will do in order to meet
the required Ieaming competencies.

Given the new context for leaming and the unique procedures in every modality, the
Instructional Learning Plan Matrix and sample class program shall be utilized by
teachers in all grade levels and leaming areas. Entries in the Instructional Leaming
Plan must be based from the self-directed leaming material provided in every leaming
areas. Activities in the Class Program must be based on the activities and the
modalities used^ All teachers must handle classes and must have a class program.
Teacher may prepare an Individual Leaming Monitoring Plan for leamers to monitor
leamer's progress based on the given intervention strategies considering the risk of
the area.

- Sample Class Program for elementary and secondary level
- Suggested Individual Leaming Monitoring Plan
