ANNOTATION

INDIVIDUAL LEARNING MONITORING PLAN

The techniques in making special embroidery stitches like the CALADO are quite difficult to follow and
master especially in the Modular Distance Learning modality. I gave a time extension for struggling
learner to complete the task. I also send a YouTube link about CALADO stitches that she may use as a
guide. There was CALADO finished output that I also send to her that she can use as her reference.
Constant communication with the learner played a significant part for her to master the competencies
and finish the performance task.

The learner needed help in completing the asynchronous activities/classwork in google classroom. To
help him meet the required competencies, a time extension was given. There were also scheduled one-
on-one virtual discussions in Google Meet to supervise the learner in completing the activities.
Moreover, I asked the help of the parent through the adviser in guiding the learner for the completion
of task.

The learner was struggling in following the procedures in making coiling techniques in paper Coaster. To
help the learner to cope up, I gave a sample output as his reference. I also explained the details of the
task in Tagalog. I yielded a time extension. Furthermore, I asked the help of the parent through the
adviser in guiding the learner for the completion of task.

LESSON PLAN

Distance Learning (DL) that can be either Modular DL or Online DL has been adopted by the school. The
MDL allowed the learners to use self-learning modules in print or digital format. The ODL featured the
engagement of learning through the use of various technology accessed through the internet. The
learners have been given choices of what learning modality they preferred to utilize depending on their
situations, resources and circumstances.

I did a meet-up with the mother of one of the struggling students in my advising class G9 Carnation
dated March 14, 2021, due to her work schedule. This is one way to reach out to my student who is
facing difficult circumstances or situations. Furthermore, the learner was able to submit the learning
tasks.

In giving Learning Task in TLE 9, I make sure to send the complete details of the task. I explained the
direction and the materials needed, I also sent pictures for learners' reference. I patiently answered all
the queries of the learners.

The learners were able to create embroidered articles using Calado and Smocking techniques as
Performance Task. The availability of materials at home was considered. The Performance Rubrics were
explained to learners. Indeed, the learning outcomes were aligned with the learning competencies in
the Lesson Exemplar.

The learner was able to answer the given learning task correctly. The learner used the self-learning
module in TLE 9 Needlecraft in print format. This gave the learner ample time for mastery and sufficient
practice to achieve the most essential learning competencies and learning objectives of the lesson.
Clearly, the learner's capacity based on the grade level was being considered,

Teacher-made/ modified learning resources

I used online materials and tools in my online class such as the padlet, canva, classapp, and self video
showing different procedures in hand massage, Learners were engaged to work in real-time. I was able
to give the lessons, feedback, comments, and scores using these tools. Moreover, I also gave emphasis
and applied digital empathy among my students upon using these online tools to foster cooperation and
to make sure to give them information that was relevant to their needs.

Certificates of participation in any professional development (PD) activities

We, the Grade 9 Online teachers generated an Innovation Project entitled, "Jumpstart ODL, Staying on
the Grid". This aimed to familiarize the learners and the subject teachers with the learning delivery set-
up for SY 2020-2021. This also served as an avenue to discuss related concerns and house rules the
teachers would like to impose for a successful year while the uncapped pandemic.

It is my goal to facilitate the positive use of technology in the teaching and learning process on the
distance learning modality. I tried my best to look for opportunities to strengthen my skills. Related to it,
I was able to attend the 16 hours Open Educational Resources (Advanced Program), training for E-Book
Development, and I was able to create an Ebook in TLE Cookery. I was also one of the writers in SLM TLE
9 Needlecraft. The training and recognition helped me a lot to become prepared and geared as a teacher
in School Year 2020-2021.

MOVs on engaging learners for their progress and achievement

I used Fb Messenger to explain the details of the learners' performance task. I usually made a follow-up
and ask the status of their learning task. I communicated with the learners and answered all their
queries. Monitoring and evaluation of learners progress and achievement are embedded in the learning
process.
Giving feedback is an essential part of effective learning. I checked and returned the output to the
learners. I gave constructive criticism and guidance in doing the learning tasks, In doing so, I knew that
this can improve their confidence, self-awareness, and enthusiasm for learning.

MOVs on professional engagement with colleagues

I attended Learning Action Cells organized and facilitated by our School Head and LAC Leaders. This
made me part of a group of teachers from Inosloban-Marawoy INHS who were engaged in collaborative
learning sessions that solved shared challenges encountered in the school. These sessions helped me to
improve the quality of my teaching to give quality learning to learners.

MOVs on engaging key stakeholders in the teaching learning process

I organized and facilitated the Parents-Teacher Conference every quarter to give updates on the status
of the learners. I was in-charge in the distribution of the learning materials of my advising class that also
gave me the opportunity to talk with the parents.

The strong participation and involvement of the parents of my advising class in the educative process
ensured the effectiveness of modular distance learning. In this times of COvid-19 pandemic the shared
responsibility and accountability between the school and parents were evident.
