2nd Conference of Chief Secretaries : Best Practice Note.

Government of lndia under the aegis of the Hon'ble Prime Minister under the Theme
"'Viksit Bharat -Reaching the Last Mile" has initiated a consultative process with the States
and UTs to determine our country's growth path. To take the agenda further, discussions and
dialogues amongst the officers of the States and UTs tasked with policy and implementation
have been initiated. For this, the 2nd Conference of Chief Secretaries is planned to be held
between 5th - 7th January 2023.

Madhya Pradesh has been selected as the lead State for Track -3: Urban Infra,
Urban Transport, Roads & Logistics, Power, and Industrial Infrastructure under Sub
Theme -2 "Infrastructure and Investments" of Pillar I "Growth and Job Creation"
along with 16 other States/UTs in the group.

In continuation to the physical workshop at New Delhi, showcase Indore city Bus
Service has been identified as a Best Practice case from Madhya Pradesh which will be
presented before the Hon'ble Prime Minister between 5tl' - 7th January 2023.

In this regard, it is requested that a note and a PPT be submitted by 30th November
2022, as per the following details:

. A presentation on Best Practice (Max. 8 to 10 slides, template attached)

o Name and designation of officer (preferably having less than l8 years of service)
making the presentation
o A short video of 2-3 mins showcasing the Best Practice
Template for presentation is attached in annexure-1.
