1 INT. SCENE 1 - COFFEE - 1

Our scene beings in a coffee shop, around midday. We are

focused on a young man, sitting alone in the corner of the
building. We don’t know who this man is, also they don’t seem
to be in the best frame of mind. They sit with a
blank expression on their ace, glaring down at the table,
alone in thought. They sit there for what feels to be some me,
when they get a phone call.

WOMAN
(The persons voice sounds
shakey, after a few
moments of silence, they
say in a wispy voice,)

“J-James, she didn’t make it…”

Without hanging up the call, they lower the phone from their
ear. They say nothing, yet in their

expression everything has changed. Although before they

seemed cold and Shakey, now they appear silent yet broken, as
i moments from crumbling.

3 INT. SCENE 2 - TOWN AND PARK 3

We are now in the middle of a town; some time has passed. We

see James’s walking with his hands in his pockets, he now has
an expression similar to that of when we first saw him,
although now void of hope, as if this expression was now
one he would live by.
2.

There is multiple different shots of him walking through the

town, each with him having the same blank expression.

We then see him in a park, sitting on a bench. His expression

has not changed since we have last saw him. We Hear a noise
come from his phone. He slowly pulls it out and sees a
message,

“PLEASE CALL ME BACK”

“WE’RE WORRIED ABOUT YOU”

He then places his phone on the same bench, and begins to

walk away, with no sign of turning back.

5 (SCENE 3 – THE BRIDGE) 5

More time has passed since our last Scene. We are now on top
of a bridge, above passing cars.

James takes his hands out of his pockets and sits on the
ground of the bridge. He then rests his back on the railings
and begins to look up. He stares blankly at the sky. The
camera then begins to pan up towards where he is looking, and
when nothing but the sky is visible,

the camera begins to cut to black.
