God is with us even in our hopeless situation

As Christians, we all want to trust in the Lord with all our heart. But if we are being honest, when life’s
storms and troubles come in our way, trusting in the Lord feels easier said than done.

The best way to build your faith and trust in God is to be prepared when the hard times come. That
means we need to work on growing our faith. But how can we work on growing our faith?

#1 Keep God’s word in your heart

When you find yourself focusing on circumstances or problems, redirect it back to Jesus. Reading,
meditating, and memorizing Scripture is a great way to prepare not just for storms but for everyday life
as well. God’s word is unchanging; a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path. When we keep His
words in our hearts, it will be easier to remember and learn on His Truth when tough times come.

God listens to our prayers

Prayer doesn’t need to be eloquent but it requires to be done in faith. You can ask God to help you trust
in Him and you can be completely vulnerable about your emotions. If prayer feels like a struggle,
remember that you’re not alone and you have brothers and sisters in the faith who can pray for you. If
even that feels like too much, remember that the Holy Spirit Himself also intercedes for us.

This may sound cliché but God has a plan for each and everyone of us

When your heart is troubled go to the Problem Solver first! He not only loves you more than anyone else
possibly could, but He alone has the power to actually fix your problems. The best thing about talking to
God is that you can trust Him completely! He will answer every prayer according to what’s best for you,
and His timing is perfect. Remember to “worship God” and tell Him how much you love Him. He loves to
hear your praises, so thank Him for His goodness, His many blessings, and most of all, for loving you.
Worship gets you through the hardest times of your life because it shifts your focus from the
problem . . . to the Problem Solver. In the midst of a struggle, praising Him may not be at the top of your
priorities, but praise Him anyway. Here’s a sobering reality: praise isn’t about how we feel about God
but rather who God is. There are infinite ways to use praise and worship as an encouragement and
uplifter of our spirit, reminding us of who God is even in life’s storms.

Lesson:
whatever happens, we will always experience struggles in life but fret not because God also has a plan
always. And God's plan for us will not be easy. There are times when we get discouraged because what
is happening in our lives seems to not align with our plans.

Key Text:

Isaiah 43:2

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will
not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you
ablaze.

Kapag dumaan ka sa malalim na tubig, sasamahan kita; tumawid ka man sa mga ilog, hindi ka
malulunod; dumaan ka man sa apoy, hindi ka masusunog, hindi ka matutupok.

God did not say that when you are in deep water, I will take you out of it. When you are on fire, I will put
out the fire.

But God will let us experience all that. The good news is that God will not abandon us. God will be with
us during those times and He will never forsake us.

Panawagan:

Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hears my voice, and open the door, I will come in to
him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

Narito ako'y nakatayo sa pintuan at tumutuktok: kung ang sinoman ay duminig ng aking tinig at
magbukas ng pinto, ako'y papasok sa kaniya, at hahapong kasalo niya, at siya'y kasalo ko.

It is said that God is knocking on our hearts, let us let him enter, He will surely be with us. Thank you and
have a blessed evening. Happy Sabbath!
