Through this amusing and educational journey, Damon sheds light on some of the problems plaguing
the sugar industry and where sugar hides on grocery store shelves. You will no longer view "healthy"
food the same way after watching The Sugar Film. We need to be mindful of a number of things,
particularly when it comes to our health. There are things that we used to do without even realizing that
they were harmful to our health. Few shocking revelations were made in the Sugar Film, and Damon was
able to create a fantastic documentary that I find to be both fascinating and educational. Our bodies are
consuming more sugar as a result. The excess sugar in our diets raises our chances of obesity, diabetes,
and heart disease. One of the videos made it clear that a lot of the study on sugar and the supporting
evidence originate from animal experiments, which caused me to doubt some of the data. I don't
necessarily concur with the designations "toxic" and "poisonous" for sugar. Anything in excess might be
harmful to your health. Water is essential for maintaining good health, but drinking too much of it can
be harmful to your health. I believe it's crucial to monitor our sugar intake and exercise better discretion
when choosing the things we buy. Always eat in moderation and avoid exceeding your recommended
intake. Sugar cannot be eliminated entirely from your diet. You feel fantastic after eating sugary meals.
They are delicious. You feel less worried after eating sugar. You can't stop after one taste. Why? Sugar is
necessary for the brain's cells to operate, but because it causes the release of dopamine, sugar also
appears to the brain as a reward. When sugar is consumed, the same region of the brain that is
stimulated by alcohol consumption lights up, according to brain scans conducted while consuming sweet
foods. You start to crave more of the delicious sweets as a result. It becomes increasingly challenging to
break the sugar habit as you consume more sugar because doing so reinforces the loop of rewards. Your
brain is affected by sugar in more ways than merely helping you develop a sweets addiction. The brain's
neural pathways may be impacted by excessive sugar consumption, potentially reducing the capacity of
the brain to store new knowledge. Sugar can obstruct nerve cell connection, thereby affecting your
mood, memory, and information processing. When it interferes with your processing, it may feel as
though you are in a fog. I realized after watching the movie that I shouldn't go back to the things I did in
the previous months (like eating too much chocolates in a day). I think that this movie would be highly
beneficial to everyone else in the globe, and I advise that schools show it. I believe that people should
watch this movie in the hopes that it would prompt them to reflect on and ask themselves some tough
questions about their own diets, and ultimately act as a catalyst for improvement.
