Admission Notice (MCA)

Applications (without entrance test/offline) are invited for admission to MCA 1st semester
for the academic session 2022-23 being run at the Panjab University Regional Centre,
Muktsar on prescribed Performa (available at URL: http://purcm.puchd.ac.in/show-
noticeboard.php?nbid=1) along with all self attested copies of all academic, category
certificates. The applications must reach in the office address of the Director, Panjab
University Regional Centre, Near Tibbi Sahib Gurdwara, Jalalabad Road, Muktsar-152026
latest by 04.10.2022 at 05.00 PM

Date and venue of counselling:

The counselling for admission to the MCA 1st semester course will take place on 07.10.2022
from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Panjab University Regional Centre, Muktsar. All the
interested candidates are advised to appear before the admission committee with all
original certificates/documents on October 07, 2022 at 10.00 AM onwards.

Qualifications:
The minimum qualification for admission to the first year of the course shall:
(i) A recognized first class degree of minimum three year's duration in any
discipline with at least 50% marks and with Mathematics at 10+2 or at
graduation level (all three years):
OR
(ii) B.C.A. from Panjab University with 50% marks
OR
(iii) Any examination recognized by the Panjab University, Chandigarh as
equivalent to any of the above examination (i) or (ii)
(iv) PU CET (PG) conducted by Panjab University, Chandigarh has been exempted
for admission. However, preference will be given to the candidates who have
cleared PU CET (PG) conducted by Panjab University, Chandigarh.
