If used incorrectly, the nail gun could inflict serious personal
injury.
1. Remove pneumatic nail gun from tool organizer.
2. Determine if the pneumatic nail gun is the correct tool for the task. Are air
compressed nails better than power drilled screws in this situation?
3. Double check the number of nails in the drum.
4. Remove air compressor from tool shed.
5. Connect nail gun to air compressor by matching the nail gun port to the air
compressor hose.
6. Plug in air compressor.
7. Turn air compressor on.
8. Ensure that the pneumatic nail gun is in a stable position pointed away from your
body.
9. Position object in front of pneumatic nail gun.
10. Hover finger over the trigger, then press nail gun against the object at the same
time as you pull the trigger to drive in the nail.
11. Release the trigger.
12. Examine the nail that is now in the object. Ensure that it is fully inserted all the
way through.
13. Turn off the air compressor.
14. Unplug the air compressor from the nail gun.
15. Put the air compressor away.
16. Put the nail gun away.
This type of nail gun is sufficient for quick and easy diy projects around the house, along with
general construction. There are many different types of pneumatic nail guns so be sure to pick
the one that will be the most efficient for you and the task at hand.
