Pneumatic Nail Guns

A Pneumatic Nail Gun is a tool that uses compressed air to drive nails into siding, fencing, or other forms
of construction-based materials. This machine has many different models, ranging from home
improvement to construction grade. The specific nail gun that I have is the Dewalt brand coil siding and
fencing nailer. This nail gun features heavy-duty aluminum housing, a compressed air chamber, smooth
trigger, port for air compressor attachment, drum for housing nails, and a fool-proof safety feature.

 Safety feature: In order to release the nails, this must be pressed in against the object the nail is
being released into.
 Aluminum housing: Protects the tools internal hardware.
 Nail drum: Contains the nails used for each project.
 Compressed air chamber: Fills with the air used for ejecting each nail.
 Trigger: This must be pulled at the same time as the safety being pushed in to release each nail.
 Air compressor attachment port: Attaches to an air compressor which then fills the tool with air.

I have used this machine to build a home for my ducks in my backyard. As someone who isn’t personally
very knowledgeable of power tools, I found this tool to be very easy to use. My husband and I have even
used it to begin building a deck.
