DEMOLITIONS AND DOWNTAKINGS

Carefully demolish and make good any disturbed surfaces. All


demolished items to remain property of the Client unless otherwise
instructed to dispose off. All fittings, fixtures, doors and electrical
ware to be recorded, signed off and handed over to the Client.

A Strip off all the floor pvc floor tiles and cart away. 380 SM

Hack and remove all floor screed under pvc floor finish and skirting
B 380 SM
and cart away arisings from site. Level surfaces for new works.

NEW WORKS

TILING WORKS

Supply and lay 22mm thick cement:sand (mix 1:3) screed, wood
C 380 SM
trowelled level ready to receive floor tiles (m.s)

Supply and fix 600x300mm x 8mm thick imported matt granitto floor
D tiles on screed to regular pattern edding and jointing in cement slurry 380 SM
and pointed in matching clour cement grout to approved samples.

Hack surfaces of wall average 10mm and cart away arisings, supply
E and fix 10mm x 100mm high porcelain tile skirting on block walls , on 81 LM
cement slurry, pointed in matching colour cement grout.

Main Door, comprising 150 x 50mm top rail, 150x50mm stiles,
C 150x50mm middle rails, 200x50mm bottom rail infilled in 50mm thick 1 NO
solid boulded timber panel in 6 No. per leaf with raised and moulded
panels, edges bevellled and grooved together;all to details.

Supply and fix 50mm thick x 900x2100mm high solid core flush door,
D 15mm thick hardwood lipping all round and veneered to both sides 17 NO
in 3mm thick hardwood veneer to details.

The following in first grade wrot mahogany timber;

E 150x50mm thick frame, 2 labours; plugged 103 LM

F 45x38mm thick architrave, moulded, 3 labours, fixed on wall 206 LM

G 25mm quadrant beading 206 LM

Supply and fix 1600x2400mm high solid mahogany double door to


fire escape, comprising 150 x 50mm top rail, 150x50mm stiles,
150x50mm middle rails, 200x50mm bottom rail infilled in 50mm thick
H 1 NO
solid boulded timber panel in 6 No. per leaf with raised and moulded
panels, edges bevellled and grooved together;complete with
approved panic bolt to details.

Supply and fix aluminium cylinder lock, double action complete with

Supply and fix 600x600 modular "HUNTER - DOUGLAS" minaboard

PAINTING AND DECORATING

Prepare surfaces by sanding, filling and scheming, apply an


undercoat and three finishing coats of premium quality vinyl matt
emulsion paint to;

D Suspended ceiling surfaces 355 SM

E Ditto, 2 coats to existing painted surfaces 195 SM
