HSE GUIDELINES

The scope of work will be carried out with the conformity of all the specifications/
requirements and under close co-ordination with CLIENT REPRESENTATIVE.

All works will be carried out in accordance with CLIENT HSE standards and specifications. A
detailed task-based risk assessment will be performed prior to commencement of any
activities on the work sites.

All work priorities will be set in accordance with the arrangements with CLIENT. Safety
precautions will be strictly adhered to during the site preparation and throughout the
execution of the job.

Appropriate firefighting facilities at the launcher and receiver areas shall be provided by
CLIENT as required.

Collection, handling and disposal of all debris recovered from the pipeline shall be done by
CLIENT in line with local regulations and industry accepted practices.

All lifting operations shall be planned, controlled and performed in line with industry
standards and CLIENT HSE rules and conditions.

Remedial measures to CLIENT facilities / operations shall be made based on a written request
from CONTRACTOR in case they are considered unsafe or unsuitable for execution of pigging
operations.

CONTRACTOR will provide its personnel with standard PPE. CLIENT is to provide special PPE,
measuring device or detector, and supervision in case the work is to be carried out in
hazardous substances (mercury, H2S, etc.).

CONTRACTOR confirms that it will be bound by CLIENT’s Drug and Alcohol policy and will
comply with CLIENT’s road safety standards.

HSE Plan, HSE Manual, Risk Assessment of Pigging Operations, Quality Management System
Manual, Quality Policy and relevant certificates are attached hereafter.
