• 100 % Visual inspection carried out for PO qty. 100% of external surface and accessible area of inside
surface verified & found satisfactory during inspection.
• 10 % Dimension inspection carried out for PO line items & found within tolerance limit as per
specification/standards.
2 Manufacturers marking (Manufacturer Logo, Material grade, Heat No, Size) verification has been carried out on
the 10% of offered pipes with reference to MTC provided by the vendor, Marking found satisfactory as per
specification/standard
3 Provisional stamping done on pipes subjected to acceptance on area of concern.
Document Review:
1. Material Test Certificate (Type EN 10204 Type 3.1 & Well Know Pipe Maker Form IIIA) for Pipes is reviewed &
verified with original test certificates and found as per applicable ARM (101,801) & specification / standard

2. Traceability verified with calibration certificates of measuring Instruments used during inspection found
satisfactory.
3. Photocopy of calibration certificate reviewed found in order.
Conclusion: Inspection was carried out within the defined scope defined as per ARM (101,801). The items have met
all the requirements of the PO , ARM & Specification. Acceptance subjected to closure of area of concern.
Pending Activities – Final Packing
Identification of the Inspected Items– All Pipes provisionally hard stamped as " " (single) on Pipe OD near
manufacturer's marking.
Areas of Concern:
1. In 2 “ x SCH. 160 – SA 106 Gr B pipes during marking correlating with MTC additional marking of “ P.O
P.O.NO.54 LOT A SR. NO. “ observed on pipe. Vendor to take clarification from manufacturer.
2. In 2 “ x SCH. 160 & 6 “ x SCH. 160 – SA 106 Gr B pipes alignment of marking is not align straight. Vendor to
take clarification from manufacturer.
3. As per ARM 801- Heat Treatment is specified however all pipes are hot finished as per MTC.L&T to confirm
acceptance.
4. In 6 “ x SCH. 160 – SA 106 Gr B- 2 Nos. pipes founded grinded from inside, however thickness survey and
visual inspection throughout length is not possible due to non-availability of Utrasonic thickness gauge (Dmeter)
and boroscope.
