I AM MALALA: MALALA YOUSAFZAI SPEECH TO THE U.

Malala Yousafzai, a Pakistani teenager, was victimized by a Taliban terrorist on October 9,

2012. Despite her horrific injuries, Malala's response may be odd, as she did not seek
revenge on those who attacked her country. Not only did the incident strengthen her
courage and her support for the legal right of every child to education, but Malala also
highlighted one of the world's most powerful weapons, education.
Malala addressed the United Nations, among more than 500 students in New York on July
12, 2013 “One child, one teacher, one book and one can change the world. Malala has made
it possible for others around the world to join her in her fight for the right of everyone to
receive an education and as a result of speeches, many children around the world have
growing confidence to begin their journey in education.

MOST EMBLEMATIC QUOTES FROM MALALA’S SPEECH

 One child, one teacher, one book, one pen can change the world.”: There are some places
where the education is not given for several reasons. About 5 million people don´t have an
education but this number can be reduced. Every child should have an equality of opportunity
to receive an education. And every  child has the right to learn of current and past world affairs,
just like Malala’s story. With knowledge, society can be changed. Therefore, one child, one
teacher, one book and one pen can change the world.

“When the whole world is silent, even one voice becomes powerful.”: Everybody can be
quiet or not make actions, but one person can change the course of it and be a difference.

 “Education is education. We should learn everything and then choose which path to
follow. Education is neither Eastern nor Western, it is human.”:

 Once I had asked God for one or two extra inches in height, but instead he made me as
tall as the sky, so high that I could not measure myself.”: She pray to God to have a little
extra inch of height but God made her taller not just in inches well maybe but made her
strong and confident that her intelligence and uniqueness made her iconic and hard to find.
 Life isn't just about taking in oxygen and giving out carbon dioxide.”: I think life isn’t
about taking to account what everyone says or do. Life it’s giving out the real you and as
Malala said only one person can make the difference.

 Our men think earning money and ordering around others is where power lies. They
don't think power is in the hands of the woman, who takes care of everyone all day long,
and gives birth to their children.”: Nowadays, most companies are led by men and a few
percentage are women. This boss men manage their office as the major authority, ordering,
and lacks you of respect because they’re your bosses and also men. Of course earning
money is important but women are not the case as an example, a new business is coming to
the company in the case of men well it’s business and money is money so, while in women
they focused on the satisfaction of client, as being comfortable, helping them and analyzing
if the business is good or not that’s when men fail on the little details. Basically, women are
the balance of each men’s live, it’s the key role in the family and society.
