Tutorials
(Problem solving sessions)
• M / Th 9:00 a.m.
• M / Tu / W / F 10:00 a.m.
• Attend 1 tutorial per week.
• Tutorials begin in week 2
• Tutorial papers are posted on OurVLE.

Monday to Wednesday tutorials are face-to-face


while Thursday and Friday are on OurVLE
using Zoom.
Some tutorial sessions may not be available during some weeks based on 4
Lecturer schedule. You will be informed.
Exam & Lecture content
(Paper 1, 1 hr.)
• Acids and Bases - 8 hr (Dr. Marks)
• Kinetics - 4 hr (Prof. Mulder)

20 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) & short answer.

(Paper 2, 1 hr.)
• Thermodynamics with Electrochemistry - 10 hr (Dr. Nelson)

20 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) & short answer.

Final Exam weight : 60%

• Duration - 60 minutes to complete and submit.

• Tests/assignments are worth 20% each (2 x 20 =
40%)
