Read "Is Computer Ethics Unique?" written by Walter Maner. In this article. Walter
attempts to determine if computer or technology-based ethics is significantly different
from other styles of ethics.
After you have read the article, draft a response as to whether you agree or disagree
with Walter's stance. Neither side is right or wrong - as long as you justify your
response.
Your response should be at least a page in length or 2 minutes if recorded in order to
state AND justify your opinion.

I agree with Walter and i think it's a good idea to learn more about the Ethics of

Computers and find as much information about them as possible. The future is ahead of

us and with every passing day technology is either invented and or improved on. Ethics

will help us understand not only problems we might face in the future dealing with

computers but maybe how to solve them as well too. “We should study computer ethics

because doing so will make us behave like responsible professionals. At worst, this type of

rationale is a disguised call for moral indoctrination” I agree with this statement because it will

make us behave more like professionals because we would now have and idea of the problem,

dealing with computers and now taking that idea of that problem and putting it together with

other ideas would possibly have created a solution towards the situation. Studying computer

ethics will prepare us for catastrophes and computer abuse that is happening throughout the

Internet.
