A. Read the dialogue and answer the questions below it

Taylor : Do you know the age limitation of smoker in Indonesia, i.e., the minimal age for us to be allowed to
smoke or to buy cigarette legally?
Baron : Do we have that law? As fas as I know, there isn’t any age limitation here, or am I the slow-thinker
here?
Smith : I don’t think so. I haven’t heard it, either. There are so many cigarette’s factories. I am sure we don’t
have it.
Taylor :Hawai, i.e., one of the state in USA, has that age limitation.
Baron : Don’t use i.e. in your words, please. It feels like an insult to our brain capacity. It seems that you are
questioning our knowledge and put yourself into the position of knowing more than we do.
Smith : It’s Ok. I don’t know that Hawaii is one of the state in America. I thought it’s an independent country,
just like Singapore, i.e., a small country which is located on the northside of us.
Baron : I lose words for both of you, but I don’t know that Hawaii has that law. So, how old are you to be able
to smoke in Hawaii?
Taylor : You should be 21 years old to be elligible in the eye of the law to smoke.
Smith : Wow.... that is amazing. Let’s browse to know whether our country has the law or not.
Taylor : Our country does have it! it says that it’s illegal to sell tobacco to a person under the age of 18 in
Indonesia. It means we have the law.
Baron : But there is no limit age for smoker, right?
Taylor : No, our country applies a rule that is applied almost in 80% of the coutries in the world, for example,
China, France, Thailand and others. The only country that forbids and states that smoking is illegal is
Bhutan.
Baron : Well.... that is more than awesome. Not even producing it?
Taylor : No.... in 2004 Bhutan, i.e., a country that is called as the happiest country in the world, banned to sale,
cultivate and produce tobacco. Some countries apply stricter rule and rise the age level to 21, for
instance, Singapore, Honduras, Kuwait and Srilanka.
Baron : But do our citizen know this rule? We don’t even know the rule exist.
Smith : Perhaps that is only us. Maybe others know the rule.
Taylor : I think I have found my theme for my research paper. I’ll do a polling to know whether our citizen
know the rule or not.
Baron : Great. That is a good idea. You haven’t submitted your title , have you?
Taylor : No. I’ll submit it today.
