Densonification: Personification is a figure of speechh
inwhich human characteristics are given to non-human
+hinas. When a table, a book, a cat, a plant or an
emotion like anger are given human bodies, feelinas.
habits or thoughts, they are said to be "personified"
This means that they are made to look like people.
The poet treats them as if they are people and they
behave like human beings. The effect of this can be
funny and interesting.
