PENGERTIAN The dengue virus which in serotype 1-4 belongs to the family of
falviviridae group of viruses. This virus is commonly found
throughout the tropic an subtropic regiona. The symptoms of
Dengue fever are sudden onset fever, headache, pain in the
back an limbs, lymphadenopathy, maculopapular rash and
retrobulbar pain. Dengue Fever and Dengue Hemorragic Fever
have steadily increased in both incidence an distributuion over
the past 40 years. Annualy, there are 20 million cases of
dengue infection, resulting in around 24000 deaths.

Mengetahui adanya antibody IgG dan atau IgM terhadap

virus dengue, di dalam serum atau darah

KEBIJAKAN
Once the specimen is added to test, IgM and or IgG antibodies
in the specimen go to blue particle conjugated with recombinant
dengue envelope protein an conjugate. The specimen/ particle
cpmplexes migrate a long the length of the test membrane
which anti-human IgM monoclonal antibody immobilized in the
IgM capture region an anti-human IgG monoclonal antibody in
the IgG capture region are then capture by the relevant IgM and
or IgG causing pale dark blue band(s) formed at IgM an or IgG
test regions and should be considered as positive for that
particular antibodies type(s) of IgM and or IgG.

The intensity of the bands will vary depending upon the amount
of antibodies present in the sample.

A red procedural control band should always appear to

incidicate that test has been performed properly.

PELAKSANAAN 3. Dengan menggunakan mikropipet ambil 1 µl serum atau
2 µl darah, tuang pada lubang sample (S).

4. Tambahkan 4 tetes larutan buffer pada lubang sampel

(S).
5. Hasil pemeriksaan dibaca setelah 15 – 30 menit. Hasil
dianggap negatif apabila sudah 30 menit tidak ada garis
biru pada lubang test.

Catatan :

1. Lot No. pada larutan buffer dengan reagent casset harus

sama.
2. Baca hasil pemeriksaan di bawah lampu yang terang.
3. Jangan menilai hasil setelah 60 menit.

1. POSITIF
2. NEGATIF
