TTRPG:

Thoughts on the campaign compendium:

NGL looks pretty cool. I can see a lot of thought went into putting it together. I
like the grittiness and it's great to see some of the rules and mechanics from
earlier editions as well as the optional rules from the DMG in there. The features
that parts of a settlement grant also a good addition and I'll probably be
borrowing some of it to use in my own games (if you don't mind). The changes made
make more sense to me than the actual RAW. I'd definitely like to try them out in
an actual game.

Role-play experience: (Years/editions/Campaigns etc.)

I started with 3.5e and played in two short campaigns, then got into 5e three years
ago and started DMing. Since then I've been the DM of an ongoing campaign, that's
still running after three years time. I played Descent Journeys in the Dark for 4
years before that (no RP, just dungeon delving).

Familiarity with Virtual TTRPG:

I've been using Roll20 for about 5 years now, so I'm familiar with the char. sheets
and how to set up macros. I am a plus member currently. I should have no problems
(if needed I can always search for a how-to on youtube).

Confirm you have a reliable microphone, with minimal background noise:

Oh yeah. I have a Blue Snowball with a pop filter. It's more than enough.

What you like in Tabletop RPGs:

I love getting together with a bunch of players, get a bit into character and do
RP, have some cool and dynamic fights, do explore weird locations, etc. My favorite
part of TTRPGs is the collective storytelling experience; people from different
cultures and different backgrounds coming together and combining their ideas to
telling an epic tale (not all of them need to have a happy ending though) - as well
as the RNG. Gotta love the unpredictability that dice add to the whole thing. You
never know what to expect. Of course a large part of what I enjoy is also exploring
the world, setting, plot and characters that the DM has prepared.

What you dislike in Tabletop RPGs:

Power play. People trying to "win" at D&D, aka munchkins. Toxic players that don't
understand that D&D is a collective experience and prioritize their own enjoyment
over the enjoyment of the whole table. Players VS DM mentality (when the DM is
intentionally trying to screw the players and ruin their fun). I don't really mind
railroading as long as my decisions can still impact the game.

How do you feel about character death:

If it happens it happens. I accept it and move on to a new character. Of course it
sucks for your character to die, but if they do, you get to come up with a new one.
Preferred RP-Combat ratio:
About 50-50 would be nice, but I wouldn't mind there being more RP, up to like 80-
20. On the other hand I'd also be fine with 30-70. As long as there is still RP I'm
good.
