1. What is history in your own words?

 Living in the present is wonderful but having knowledge
about the past is beyond expectation. Everytime I heard
the word history the first thing that comes to my mind is
that it is related to the past events. It is served as the
mirror of ourselves in the present for what we are and
what we have right now. The way we lived today is the
combination of history and the present. A history
sometimes leaves a painful trauma, scars, knowledge,
wisdom and learnings that thought us to become what
we are today. This study indicates the lives of the
people, the memories that happened and how people
cope for the past several years. It give us ideas and
knowledge to relate and meditate and be part of it even
if we are living in the present. History help us to know
our identify as a person and open our minds in the
reality of truth in our culture. For me history is not just
all about how people live in the past but it also give
thoughts about the circumstances that has happened
and taught us in building ourselves from the incidents
from the past that might cause us a great trauma.

2. What is Readings in Philippines history all about?

  Readings in Philippines history was all about learning the past
events or phenomenon that happens in our country. The
moments, how people lived, and the things that leaves great
impact that until now are keep on reminding us how was it
used to be. The way we live in the present everyday is
connected to our history. Studying the Readings in Philippine
history is a great opportunity for us the new generation to be
able for us to understand the concepts and ideas that we need
to know from the past so that we could easily relate ourselves
and to have enough knowledge about the history of the
Philippines.

3. How does history affect the present and future? Why?

 History affects the present and future by means of it gives us a
hint on why certain things are keep on happening to us
nowadays. Our behavior in the present have been sculpted by
our past that’s why wherever we go it can’t change the fact
that we are living by the help of our history. This will also lead
us to shaped the current situation up to the future but with a
new generation. Because history yields our personality and
shows reason on why we are here today to live our lives. The
present years will be the basis on what possible that might
happen in the future. Because I do believe that when we are
learning our history it would help in order for us to relate in the
present and the present will be the key to lead ourselves to the
future but with a new generation.

4. Kindly explain!
 The day after yesterday is significant for the people to
understand why they are doing a specific task in the present
and how it will affect the coming days?
Every single day is a new beginning for us. New things to
discover and task to be done while we are pursuing in life.
Most specially in our current situation we need to double our
hard-work to be able to seize the day. We are doing a specific
task in the present in order for us to achieve something that we
want in our hearts. Things that we considered as our
instrument to guide our future. Because we knows that our
present lies in our life an important role. No matter what
decisions we make it will reflect it to the coming days or to our
future. We need to understand how significant the present to
us. These is where it lies our bright future. For example, if in
the present days you do things that you know for yourself it
will help you and do good decisions, it might help us to gain
positive outcome in the near coming days.

5. Give 10 reason why do we need to study history?

 We need to study history because it will help know our
identity as a person
 History yields our personality from the experiences that
happened in the past.
 It able us to reflects our culture.
 We need history because it is the foundation of the present
and the future.
 Because of the history we can able to understand the
present and lead us in our future.
 History helps to develop a good relationship among the
people.
 It helps us to relate in other people and their society.
 Studying history help us to easily adapt the changes that has
happened in our life.
 History developed us to be inspired and learn from the past
in order for us to take a look forward for our future.
 Lastly, by studying the history we likely played a puzzle
because we are the one who will complete with knowledge
by learning through it.
