Materials needed:
Acrylic yarn in pink and lavender colour ( i have used 4ply/ sport weight acrylic yarn).
Crochet hook according to the size of your yarn ( i have used 2mm hook).
Tapestry needle
Safety eyes or flat back black beads for eyes (I have used 8mm flatback bead).
This pattern is written in US English terms and worked in continuous rounds unless stated otherwise.
ch - chain.
sc - single crochet.
dec - sc 2 together.
rep ** - repeat stitches between **.
Head:
Using pink colour yarn,
R1: 6 sc in magic ring (6).
R2: 2sc in each st (12).
R3: *sc in next st, 2 sc in next st*, rep **(18).
R4: *sc in next 2 st, 2 sc in next st*, rep ** (24).
R5: *sc in next 3 st, 2sc in next st*, rep ** (30).
Ears: (Make 2)
R1: 4sc in magic ring (4).
R2: *sc in next, 2 sc in next st*, rep ** (6).
R3: *sc in next, 2 sc in next st*, rep ** (9).
R4: *sc in next 2 st, 2sc in next st*, rep ** (12).
Legs: (Make 4)
5 sc in magic ring.
Tail:
R4 - 6: sc in each st (8).
R7 - 8: sc in each st (8).
Assembling:
Place the ears at the end of R3 spanning till the end of R8 on either sides of the head.
Embroider the mouth and add in whiskers. For the mouth embroider a inverted v shape and a
small straight line above that. Sew the whiskers one stitch apart from the side of the eyes.
Take a strand of lavender colour yarn and sew the stripes on forehead and at the sides of the
body.
Finally attach the tail at the back. I placed them between R21 and R22.
