DEFENDANTS XYZ, (“Defendants”), by the undersigned counsel, unto this Honorable

Court, most respectfully state:

1. On 5 May 2008, Defendants requested an additional period of fifteen (15) days

from 8 May 2010, or until 23 May 2010, within which to file its Answer.

2. However, considering the unresolved preliminary issues that are still pending

before this Honorable Court, Defendants are constrained to request for additional period of

fifteen days (15) days from 23 May 2010 or until 7 June 2010 within which to file their Answer.

3. This motion is intended only for the foregoing reason in the interest of justice, and

not for delay.

WHEREFORE, Defendants most respectfully pray that this Honorable Court grant them

an additional period of fifteen from 23 May 2010 or until 7 June 2010, within which to file their
