Monitor Voltage Setting


To set the monitor voltage:
1. Disconnect the power cord.
2. Hold down the two right monitor buttons while
reconnecting the power and continue holding until an
image appears.
3. Press the two center monitor buttons.
4. Select ADVANCED CONTROLS and then INPUT 0.7V.
5. Select SAVE & RETURN.
6. Select EXIT OSD.
7. Power off and power on the monitor to return it to normal
mode.
Monitor Temperature Setting
1. In normal ultrasound mode, press the two left monitor
buttons simultaneously to display the current setting.
2. Press the two buttons again to toggle to the appropriate
setting:
- 1 for cardiology
- 2 for non-cardiology

Accessing the Event Log and Debug Info
Event Log
To access the Event Log:
1. From the Field Service Options dialog box, click Event
Viewer.
2. Select Application Log.
View the errors near the time and date of any system
problems. Double-click each error to view the details,
which may provide debugging clues.
Debug Information
If the software encounters an error from which it cannot
recover, the message appears:
“An Internal Error has occurred…” .
The Crash Recorder saves debug information associated
with the error.
To view the debug information that the Crash Recorder
saves:
1. Access C:\Diagnostics and find the directory with the
date and time of the error.
2. Use Notepad to view the file, drwtsn32.log, and
examine the text near the beginning of the file for clues
to the cause of the error.
To copy the debug information to a CD or a floppy disk:
1. From the Field Service Options dialog box, click Save
Debug Info.
2. Select the appropriate date/time directory and click
Save.

Using RST Logs
The Log tab in the RST window allows access to the following
logs:

Viewing and Clearing Logs


To view a log:
1. Click the Event Viewer on the Log tab.
2. Select the log to view.
To clear a log:
• Right-click the log name and select Clear Log.
RST Log Codes
The code is in the following format:
SSnnNN
Where:
• SS is the subsystem tested:
- BP is the beam processor subsystem.
- DP is the display processor subsystem.
• nn is the module number of the tested module.
• NN is the submodule number.
Example: DP0102
The A/D converter (submodule 02 of module 01) of the
display processor was tested.
Using the Service Log
To make entries:
1. Right-click the Service Log and select Add Service Entry.
2. Type your name in the top two fields and the service
information in the Comments: field.
3. Click OK.
4. Adjust the width of the columns to see the comments or
double-click the entry to view or edit it.
