The life cycle of a frog

INTRODUCTION
Frogs are a very common type of amphibian and are widely distributed throughout the
world, their life cycle may vary depending on their species. They are oviparous animals;
they reproduce sexually by laying eggs.

DEVELOPMENT
First, adult frogs reproduce with each other and lay many eggs, then the eggs with the help
of their nutrients carry out embryonic development.
They are very dependent on water, as they need it for breathing, then, when the tadpole is
perfectly formed and able to survive, the eggs hatch, and the frog tadpoles come out into
the water.
This is followed by metamorphosis, in which the tadpoles become adult frogs. At this stage,
the formation of appendages occurs: frogs need two front legs and two hind legs (haunches)
in order to live; also happens tail retraction: the tadpole's tail gradually disappears.

CONCLUSION
Finally, once all the necessary changes have been achieved, and remembering that many of
the young will have died along the way, the adult individuals come to the surface.
Therefore, to complete the life cycle, we need fertile adults that can lay new batches of
eggs; once we have a fertilized female, she will deposit her eggs in a pool of water, thus
closing the life cycle of a frog.
