IT’S NOT A BASKET OR A NET, IT’S A KORF
In 1996 korfball celebrated its fiftieth birthday in London with a special match – and very few people
noticed.

Dutch players demonstrated the game for the first time in the UK. Although it became established in
south-east London, its development was very limited. However, in the last fifteen years the development
