My friends and I prayed and studied the Bible on that particular day. It
occurred to me that bible studying with my friends was actually quite
enjoyable. I'm delighted they came, since it enabled us to discuss about how
we should pray properly. I've learned that praying should come from the
heart rather than being recited. Praying is essential because we must repent
our sins and thank God for everything that he has done for us.

Since our mother had gone to the province, it was only me and my younger brother
at home that day. Because I am the older sister, I was in charge of everything. It was
really difficult to do all of the tasks at home. It made me understand how strong my
mother is since she does these exhausting chores every day, and it made me feel both
guilty and proud. Housework was enjoyable since it made me want to tidy without
being forced. I've realized that I should constantly help my mother around the house
because she is always exhausted from work and is a single mother. She is our
mother/father since she went to great lengths to ensure that we had a good life.

Because our mother was still in the province, I was in charge of our household.
That day, I was grateful for my younger brother's help with housework. I want
to teach him all he needs to know at an early age. We avoided using gadgets
and played on that day because it was Holy Week. We wanted to make our
mom proud when she get home so that she could just relax when she arrive .
The most important thing to learn is how to do housework; not only will it
make our mother pleased, but it will also benefit us in the future.
