Instructions: in your chosen topic and objectives created do the following:

1. Create a dataset for your variables to answer your objectives using the corresponding
inferential statistics. Each data set must have at least 200 respondents or observations for each
variable.
2. Test your dataset for normality distribution. Screenshot the results and paste the results.
Discuss the initial results.
3. State the initial parameters such as sig-level and confidence interval. Treat your dataset with
appropriate inferential statistics and discuss.
4. Create your data analysis from the results of data treatment for each objective. Your data
analysis should consist of presentation of numerical presentation based on the results and
implications about the results and the variables involved.
5. Include the screenshot of the results and attached the datasets in excel format in your
submission for verifications of the statistical results.
6. Use the format below for the results and submit it in a document file format in the designated
section of the LMS.

1. A certain mentor wants to determine if a certain delivery mode differs in test results of 5 groups of
students.

The total number of items is 50. Each group have 50 participants or observations.

OBJECTIVES:
Is there a significant difference in the test results of between each group?

HYPOTHESIS (HO):

There is no significant difference each group of participants

SIGNIFICANCE:

Sig-level = 0.05

CI = 0.95 = 95%

RESULTS:

*Normality Test based on p-value

Group A= .13467 Normally distributed

Group B= .07052 Normally distributed

Group C= .17454 Normally distributed

Group D= .06234 Normally distributed

Group E= .07052 Normally distributed

* Results # 1 (Means)

Mean (Group A)= 41.94

Mean (Group B)= 46.16

Mean (Group C)= 43.18

Mean (Group D)= 43.48

Mean (Group E)= 44.16

*Results # 2

ANOVA P-
value= .002632
INTERPRETATION:

Hypothesis in null form will be

accepted, therefore there is no
significant difference in the
performance of each group. However,
Group B is a best group because it
earns a higher average than the
others whereas Group A is the least
group just because it produces
the lowest average among the
five groups.

2. An instructor wants to create a

semi-standard summative trst for a
certain topic. However, she needs
at 50 participants that will
take the test 5 times to determine if
it will produce a consistent results. The
test results were as follows for test 1 to
test 5.
OBJECTIVES:

Is there a significant difference in the raw scores if each test administration

HYPOTHESIS ( HO):

There is no significant difference in the raw scores of each test administration.

SIGNIFICANT LEVEL:

Sig-level= 0.05

CI = 0.95 = 95%

NORMALLY TEST (p-value)

Test #1= .19028 not Normally distributed

Test #2= .17148 Normally distributed

Test #3= .15037 Normally distributed

Test #4= .15163 Normally distributed

Test #5= .20454 not Normally distributed

RESULTS

Results for Mean

Mean (Test #1)= 44.92

Mean (Test #2)= 44.34

Mean (Test #3)= 44.04

Mean (Test #4)= 44.14

Mean (Test #5)= 43.84

INTERPRETATION:
Test #1 has the highest average and Test #5 had the least average.

RESULT (ANOVA P-value)

p-value= 0.49856

INTERPRETATION:

The Hypothesis in null form will not be accepted since the composed value is not significant at

p <.05. Therefore, there is significant difference in the mean scores of each test administration.
3. A science teacher wants to find which group of students performs better based on their summative
scores.

CI = 0.95 = 95%

RESULTS:

*Normality Test based on p-value

Group 1= .08696 Normally distributed

Group 2= .05171 Normally distributed

Group 3= .01025 not Normally distributed

Group 4= .03982 not Normally distributed

Group 5= .04118 not Normally distributed

* Results # 1 (Means)

Mean (Group 1)= 41.94

Mean (Group 2)= 44.7

Mean (Group 3)= 43.94

Mean (Group 4)= 44.64

Mean (Group 5)= 43.48

* Results #2

ANOVA P-
value= .062593. The
result is not significant at
p <>0.5.
INTERPRETATION:

Hypothesis in null form wil notl be accepted, therefore there is significant difference in the performance
of each group. However, Group 4 is a best group because it earns a higher average than the others
whereas Group 1 is the least group just because it produces the lowest average among the five groups.
