1-. It provides better access for consumers and businesses to digital goods and services
across Europe. This will allow to potential the e-commerce for Europe as one and will
increase the percentage of consumers buying from other countries within the EU and not
only domestically.
2-. Shaping the right environment for digital networks and services to flourish, setting the
bases for customers as sellers so they can have a free digital space without worrying on
the regulations from their specific countries.
3-, And finally, to create a European digital economy and society with growth potential.
Helping to create a better organization for companies and their willingness to teamwork,
because there is no case in creating laws for a digital single market if the companies do
not follow it. Therefore, it needs to be very specific and detailed so the companies can
adapt to is as fast as possible so later they can see a huge development, with the free
flow of information and data.

Some geo-blocking practice that are trying to impede, for example the audiovisual
industry meaning that we cannot see them from our current location if they are from a
different country and favors people to search this content in an illegal manner. Another
one is that sometimes there is not a free flow of certain information because of your phone
number or location, and this can create advantages to those who have access, and it
does not favor a “healthy market”. And finally, there are some products to which the final
customer does not have access and needs for its daily life which represents a type of
discrimination.
It increases the national economy of each company due to the fact they only can
buy from their own national producers

The three main goals with the creation of the Digital Single Market are:
1- To ensure that all individuals have the same opportunities to buy digitaly products or
services within the EU or even for companies to conduct their business digitally without
any discrimination due to the country they come from- remove all the barrier that are
not supose to exist in the single market
2- Help with the success of the European companies with the creatiation of regulation that
stands for a fair competition and also with mechanism that protec the consumer privacy. These
measures not only help the existing companies but also will also provide oppurtunities for star-
ups to rise.
3- Help Europe to conserve its position as a world leader and help it prosper even more
and this is possible with a good functioning and development of the Digital Single
Market. With all barriers removed, Europe's GDP is forecast to increase by 415 billion
euros
