What Issues Are Your Organizations Concerned With
Social Justice: Justice in terms of the
distribution of wealth, opportunities, and
privileges within a society
.
Food Justice: Food justice is a holistic
and structural view of the food system
that sees healthy food as a human right
and addresses structural barriers to that
right.

Fact: According to the USDA, more than 38


million people, including 12 million children,
in the United States are food insecure.
Fact: every community in the country is home
to families who face hunger, but rural
communities are especially hard hit by
hunger.
Fact: Hunger in African American, Latino,
and Native American communities is higher
because of systemic racial injustice.

1. Education- Gardening and Harvesting Food

2. Classes- Plant Identification and Cooking Class

will use these story clips of those affected for a commercial style campaign
that can be used for TV, web, and social media campaigning.
