CEMS Bangladesh in association with CEMS Global USA has once again organized the 12 th edition of
Meditex Bangladesh 2019, the biggest exhibition on the medical, clinical and healthcare industry of
Bangladesh to be held from 2-4 May 2019 at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB),
Dhaka. Three other exhibitions will be held concurrently with this exhibition, which are 4 th International
Health Tourism Expo and 5th Bangladesh clinical lab expo 2019.

An inauguration ceremony was held on the 2 nd of May 2019 at the seminar hall of ICCB with Chief
Guest, Dr. Md. Murad Hassan, M.P, Hon'ble State Minister, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare,
Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh along with special guests, Dr. V M Thomas, Phd.
FSAB, Chairman, Chennai Fertility Center and Research Institute, India and Mr. Alan Hoo, Head of
Business Development, LKL Advance Metaltech SDN BHD. Ms. Meherun N. Islam, President and
Group Managing Director, CEMS Global USA and Asia Pacific and Mr. S.S. Sarwar, Group CEO,
CEMS Global USA and Asia Pacific was also present in the ceremony.

Starting from the 2nd of May 2019 at 10.30 AM, the 3-day long expo will be a one-stop platform to
showcase the latest developments and emerging technology from home and abroad. The exhibition will
feature new medical devices & equipment, surgical instruments, dental equipment, diagnostic equipment
and hospital equipment & supplies. The latest technological innovations from Bangladesh, India,
Thailand, China, USA, France, Australia, Germany, Denmark, Taiwan, Turkey and Korea will showcase
their products and services in the expo. Many hospitals and healthcare providers from India, Malaysia,
Sweden, Singapore and Thailand will also exhibit their services and latest developments in healthcare.
There will seminars every day on fertility, thyroid disease and other contemporary and interesting health
issues.
