The Biggest

Snowman Ever!

Planning
The teacher will decide:

Promotion
Teacher will present read aloud and hint about a
fun STEM challenge to students!

Teacher may possibly model the STEM activity to


get the students excited about their challenge.
Preparations
Teacher will gather materials needed such as the read aloud book, STEM
Materials, create instruction/design/recording/reflection sheet, powerpoint to
introduce the activity, and create/present an anchor chart with the
Engineering Design Process. Teacher will need to make copies if needed.
This STEM activity will be done in groups of 3-4 students.

● Beads and pipe cleaners
