Following my dream “be strong, be brave and go beyond.” -Cristiano Ronaldo

I have always had a big passion for soccer and my favorite player is Cristiano Ronaldo. I

always thought of him as the best soccer player in the world and also as really inspiring. I have

watched almost all of his games. In my opinion he is awesome. He has scored goals in the best

way ever.

My passion for soccer was bigger than anything I wanted to be just like Cristiano

Ronaldo. He is a person I admire a lot. He is the best soccer player I’ve seen. When he plays and

someone trips him he rolls once or twice then gets on his feet he does not like to make a big deal

of everything. My biggest dream was to be like him and he has a quote about it “We don’t want

to tell our dreams we want to show them.” This is one of my favorite quotes from him. I told this

to my cousin Deily but then she asked “why is that one of your favorite quotes and what does it

mean?” then I answered “it is one of my favorite quotes of CR7 because it says what we should

do he says that we have to show that we can make our dreams come true even when people look

down on us and we just have to tell them what our dreams are but we have to show them that we

can make them come true.”

“I am not a perfectionist, but I like to feel that things are done well. More important than

that, I feel an endless need to learn, to improve, to evolve, not only to please the coach and the

fans, but also to feel satisfied with myself.” “ This is one of my favorite quotes from CR7

(Cristiano Ronaldo) because as he says I am not a perfectionist but I feel like things are getting

done well also what is more important I don’t do things to satisfy anyone I am not writing this

personal essay to satisfy my readers I want to write this because I want to keep learning to

improve on my writing not to please anyone not my teacher not my classmates not my parents

but myself.” I told Deily then she looked at me with a grin on her face and said “no wonder you

always like things done well, for example that time we were folding clothes, I just folded my

fathers pants in half and it looked all wrinkled and you told me it had to be done well and be left

with no wrinkles.” She paused then continued “ you said that it should not be done perfectly but

had to be done well. I now understand where you get all of that. I just thought you wanted things

done perfectly but I now understand that things need to be done well, not perfect but good

enough.” She finished, then I just nodded.

CONCLUSION
In conclusion those words that Cristiano Ronaldo said have influenced me I now know that I

don’t need to satisfy anyone else with what I do I don’t have to do thinks just because people

want me to do them I can do them because I want to and to satisfy my self not other people also

to keep improving on everything I do. So if this essay does not satisfy you I am sorry to say that I

don’t really care. I felt satisfied with it. I tried my best to do it. I put the most effort into it

because like Ronaldo said “be strong, be brave and go beyond.”
