RATIONALE: TikTok is the most widely used mobile app that was developed in China.
Its popularity spans the globe. TikTok users are primarily motivated by the
satisfaction that can be gained from engaging in entertaining activities.
Because adolescents are in the process of developing their identities and
are hungry for social interaction, they are more likely to use the
application. According to the findings of some researchers, the
motivations of TikTok users can be broken down into two categories: self-
expression and user satisfaction. In this study, the effects of sadness,
anxiety, and stress on the relationship between TikTok use disorder and
memory loss will be studied as potential mediating factors. Memory loss
will be evaluated using a test that involved counting backward and
forward through a set of digits.
