Assalamualaikum wbt and very good morning to all ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to [the Industry
Expert Talk on Strategic Human Resources Management.

I am Masyitah Kamaruddin your MC for this slot. I’m also would like to greet our respective lecturer for
Strategic Human Resource Management course Prof Dr Norizan Hj. Azizan, fellow classmates, and of
course, our distinguished speaker from Proton and our moderator Salehuddin.

The topic for this first slot is about Foster Innovation Throughout the organization in Strategic HRM
Practices. This slot will start with topic briefing by Mr Rodzal and we will open for dialogue session. To
all dearest participants, kindly use this opportunity to get to know more about the relation between the
innovation and strategic HRM practices.

Without further ado, I would like to invite our Moderator Salehuddin to begin this session.

Thank you Masyitah, Good morning & assalamualaikum everyone. Thank you for joining us today, and I
hope all is well. I am Salehhudin, your moderator for today and let’s Welcome our respective presenters
for Group 5 session, Encik Rodzal Had, the General Manager Human Resource Business Partner in
Proton.

Before we begin this workshop, please allow me to read our speaker short bio.

Encik Rodzal is a member of the Proton company serves as the respective General Manager Human
Resource Business Partner. He is the experience HRBP in all HR functions with almost 20 years of
experience with outstanding success in HR starts-up Recruitment & Talents Acquisition, Talents
Management, Business Re-organization/ Turnaround and business rightsizing and history of leading HR
functions for Union & Non-unionize business environment. Additional milestones to his over 20 years
career journey as HR practitioner has exposed working and liaising with high expectations in HR
standards from Germany counterpart, adopting the fast-paced in Japanese working environment and a
proud team of transportation team for Proton.

Ladies and Gentlemen, without further ado, allow me to welcome Mr. Rodzal to present the material of
