Notice waived by Mr. Ileyas Laway, GA for official respondents and Mr. P.
S. Ahmad, advocate, on behalf of private respondents.
Mr. Laway states that a status report has been received from Deputy
Commissioner, Anantnag and that same could not be filed on account of paucity of
time granted by this court. Let Mr. Laway file the status report during course of
the week.
At this stage, Mr. Laway would submit that the petitioner as also the private
respondents are persons having threat perception and have been permitted to avail
government accommodation. However, he would submit that the accommodation
in question is suitable only for two persons and, as such, the private respondents
could be accommodated in the said accommodation whereas the petitioner could
be accommodated in some other suitable accommodation within the security
premises. Let Deputy Commissioner Anantnag initiate a process and work out the
possibility of accommodating the petitioner in the alternative accommodation as
proposed. Till said process is completed, interim directions passed on 18.11.2022
shall continue to remain in operation.
List the matter for consideration on 6.12.2022.
