WELCOME TO MANAGEMENT SCIENCE COURSE!!!
Objective of the Course
To provide in-depth understanding of various advanced topics of MS Excel so that at the end of the
course, the student will be able to understand and develop models using spreadsheet. Particularly,
students will be a able to develop structured and unstructured reports for routine and strategic decision
making.
Teaching Methods
To prepare the best grade business executives, it is important to have a holistic approach to learning &
solving real life problems. The instructor’s aim is to develop in students a level of confidence that will
help you to reframe the corporate financial management practices for becoming an effective partner in
value creation objective. Thus, an appropriate teaching method involves among others class room
discussion, presentation, & problem solving. Group assignment & individual assignment is also a viable
option for further our learning quest.
Subject Materials
Subject materials contains a text book and reference books. Student must buy the text book because they
must carry text into the class. Moreover, class lecture slides will be provided. However, detial will only be
available in the class lecture and in the referred text.
Other Materials
Must bring 4 ball point pens (1 Black, 1 Blue, 1 Red and 1 Green) and a calculator in each class.
Deviation to this standard may degrade your GPA.

Academic Honesty
Students are responsible for conducting themselves with honor and integrity in fulfilling course
requirements. Penalties and/or disciplinary proceedings may be initiated by the university against
a student accused of scholastic dishonesty. “Scholastic dishonesty” includes, but is not limited to,

Remember my aim to make you understand that you must get the value for what either you or the
government have paid. You must add value in yourself to be competitive in your search for an
accomplished future. Any student can come to me for solving any of his/her problems within the office
time mentioned earlier or by making an earlier appointment.
Note: Don’t be so concerned about grades! It’s neither my property nor my parent’s property. I will
help you to earn it. Even if I will trouble you with lot of work I am sure that it will yield dividend!!!
