ACL :
Anterior cruciate
ligament
tissue that connects
the thighbone to the
shinbone, at the knee
PCL :
posterior cruciate
ligament
ligament that runs along
the back of your knee
and connects your
thighbone to the top of
your lower leg bone
Meniscus:
a C-shaped piece of
tough, rubbery cartilage
that acts as a shock
absorber between the
shinbone and the
thighbone.
2 different parts:
Medial and Lateral
Patella:
is a flat, inverted
triangular bone,
situated on the front of
the knee-joint
Rehabilition:
the process that seeks
to overcome the
physical effects of
injury, illness or surgery
and improve function,
mobility and quality of
life.

Decided who wants to be the physical therapist and

who wants to be the patient (each person is going

to be the therapist and the patient)


The Physical Therapist will come up with one

activity that the patient will perform dealing with

the knee.
Use two of the vocab words that you learned today
Then the roles will switch ( The PT will then become

the patient and the patient will become the PT)


After coming up with the two activities that they

worked on, they will demonstrate them to the

whole class.
