Instruction Manual grounded power supply cannot be used as it may cause damage, so use
the FD-MZ A Series. We also recommend using a system design that
insulates the flow sensor and its peripherals from other controllers to pre-
vent the effects of stray currents. The ground line and the protection circuit
may be damaged also in a negative grounding system because a large
difference in electrical potential occurs between the power supply unit and
the pipes. Use the FD-MZ A Series in this case as well.
• FD-MZ A Series
The bore and the metal areas are insulated from the power supply
line. This can be used in both the positive grounding system and the
negative grounding system.

side of the FD-M Series may cause damage
Note If fluid leaks from the pipes even when using the torque shown above, do not
attempt to tighten the joints further. Instead, check for flaws in the threaded
portion or sealing tape.
