City Councilor
City Government of Ilagan

Sir:

Greetings of Peace!

The Schools Division of Ilagan- Special Education Program always participates in the
different national and international events for our Learners with Disabilities (LWD). One of
which is the yearly observance of International Day for Disabled Persons (IDDP) which aims
to promote an understanding of disability issues and mobilize support for the dignity, rights
and well-being of persons with disabilities. It also seeks to increase awareness of gains to be
derived from the integration of persons with disabilities in every aspect of political, social,
economic and cultural life.

In this year, IDDP will take place in Isabela School of Arts and Trades, Calamagui 2 nd, City
of Ilagan Isabela on November 29 at 8 o’clock in the morning with the theme
“Transformative solutions for inclusive development: the role of innovation in fueling an
accessible and equitable world”. We currently anticipate an audience of about 400 including
learners, parents, teachers, school heads and division office leaders. Our goal is to provide a
day to recognize the talents, to share fun and to come as one in celebration.

With this, we humbly request your presence in this year’s celebration of IDDP as we firmly
believe you would make a remarkable impact to all the participants as you are deemed the
City’s prime mover in the service of Education. We also ask for the provision of Magician,
prizes for parlor games, and food for the participants in this event.

We are hoping for your time and consideration. We very much look forward to hearing from
you.

Respectfully yours,
