_____________________: A Very Good Morning to our respected principal,


teachers and Andrewites, “We the students of class 11 D are here to present our
assembly.(trembling)
________________________: --PRAYER--
____________________________:Hey, what’s wrong, why do you look so low
and dull? Are you okay?
_____________________________:No…I feel tired and irritable during the
day and I am unable to asleep as well. I think I am suffering from insomnia!
___________________________:Woah…calm down. Why do you think you’re
suffering from insomnia?
___________________________: That’s what Google says. Will I ever be able
to recover?(panics)
___________________________: You Gen Z believe anything which is shown
on the internet. These are the early symptoms of stress and anxiety.
_______________________:this brings us to today’s topic TURNING STRESS
AND ANXIETY INTO SUCCESS
____________________________: What is stress and anxiety?
____________________________: Stress is a feeling of emotional or physical
tension whereas anxiety is a feeling of fear, dread and uneasiness . These can
come from any traumatic event or thought that makes you feel frustrated, angry,
or nervous.
____________________________: Don’t worry. Here are some long term
strategies to manage stress and anxiety, to help you feel like things are under
your control.

1)______________________: Getting more physical activity. Many studies


have shown that engaging in physical activities helps reduce stress levels.
Regular exercise has been shown to improve symptoms of stress and anxiety.
2)______________________: Follow a healthy diet. Following a nutrition -
dense diet and limiting ultra – processed foods may provide your body with the
nutrients it needs for optimal health and decrease your risk of deficiencies in
nutrients that help regulate stress.
3)_____________________: Minimise phone use and screen time. Smart
phones and computers are an unavoidable part of everyday life for many people.
While devices are often necessary, using them too often may increase stress
levels. Furthermore, screen time mat negatively affect sleep. Minimising screen
time may help reduce stress and improve sleep in both children and adults.
4)____________________: Create boundaries and learn to say no. Creating
boundaries, especially with people who add to your stress levels, is a healthy
way to protect your well-being. Being selective about what you take on and
saying “no” to thongs that will unnecessarily add to your load can reduce your
stress levels.
5)___________________:Learn to avoid procrastination. Procrastination
may harm your productivity and leave you scrambling to catch up. This can
cause stress which negatively affects your health and sleep quality. If find
yourself procrastinating regularly. it may be helpful to get in the habit of
making ta to do list organised by priority which will help ward off regulated
stress.
6)____________________:-Music Therapy. It is scientifically proven that
llistening to music reduces stress, anxiety and restores attention. Studies have
found that listening to music can help calm your nervous system and lower
cortisol levels, both of which can help reduce stress.  So, let’s experience it

be scary. There are different methods to reduce stress and some can be as
easy as:-

3)________________:Practicing meditation or yoga.

5)________________: Keeping a journal


6)________________: Eating a healthy diet and getting enough sleep.

up.

9)________________: Channelling your anxiety into hard work.

10)________________: Getting some advice and practicing new skills.
