From the list of 100 teaching strategies, identify at least 20 strategies which you think are suitable for accounting
classes. Justify your choices.

1. Active Reading Students must practice to read often because aside from the
minor subject lessons, the major ones require a lot of reading
to fully understand the accounting concepts.
2. Alternative Assessment This will help the students strengthen their capacity of
thinking.
3. Anticipation Guide Students are aware about the lessons and task to be
accomplish.
4. Assigned Questions Students are required to give time to think for the assigned
question which will help them to applied the learnings they
have gained.
5. Categorizing This is useful especially on categorizing the words in a
concept it helps the students familiarize and memorize.
6. Graphic Organizers Just like categorizing, this will help the accounting students
reconnect the ideas and functions of the.
7. Brainstorming It can be used for solving a specific
problem or answering a question. For more information and
ideas. This may be used in accounting classes during group
activity. Accounting students learn to interact and freely
discuss their ideas.
8. Mini Lessons To recall to the important ideas in a lesson
9. Concept Formation This will help the students fully understand the tackled
concept of the lesson.
10. Book Talks Some lessons might not be in the book that is available so this
will give a chance to every student who can share their
learnings base from the book that they have read.

want to know, and to monitor what they have learned. This
will help them specially to cope with the adjustment of both
the teacher and the students.
