WHY THIS PRODUCT?


The biodegradable mask will be a substitute for the surgical masks
used for protection against covid and other viruses. The surgical masks
are creating large amounts of biological waste since they are thrown
after the first couple of uses and aren’t made of easily degradable
materials. If this is continued then it will cause irreversible impacts to
our environment. On the other hand, biodegradable masks will be
made of cloth which can be reused is easily degradable.

A. PLA is a safe fibre which will not be as comfortable as the surgical masks but it will
not cause discomfort either. The lyocell straps will ensure it is soft and won’t cause
irritation in the ears.

These power banks make use of solar energy, which is a free and clean
energy to power a phone. They let one enjoy the outdoors without the
fear of their battery dying. They are waterproof as well which will allow
them to be used even in rainy weather. But, they cannot be charged
when it is cloudy or in the night which could limit the uses. But they
will save cost of electricity required to charge the phone.

A. These power banks will be more efficient during long periods outdoors since they will
recharge themselves but they will be unsuitable for rainy months, when the sun is
visible for short periods of time.

WHY THIS PRODUCT?


A lot of organic waste is produced by all households and it makes up a
large amount of garbage dumped in landfills. Instead of throwing it
away, we can use this organic waste to create vermicompost which
acts as a great fertilizer. It is extremely eco-friendly since it does not
harm the environment and ruin soil quality like chemical fertilizers and
pesticides do.

gardeners.

confectionaries and bakeries which all have a lot
of waste food to NGOs. These NGOs can use that
food to feed the poor.

This app will help connect NGOs/ food banks/ shelters with hotels, restaurants,
bakeries etc. to use the food that would normally be thrown away by them. This
food can then be used to feed the homeless, poor and needy

WHY THIS APP?


There are many homeless/ poor people living on the streets in India and they often
stay hungry for long periods of time. Whereas, in hotels, restaurants, and bakeries
thousands of food products are wasted since they cannot be kept for long periods
of time and must be sold immediately.
This app will help connect these places to NGOs which can use this food to reduce
the hunger that is prevalent in the area. In this way, wastage of food is being
reduced and eradication of hunger is taking place.

WHY THIS PRODUCT?


Hydrogen fuel cells produce electricity by combining hydrogen and
oxygen atoms. The hydrogen reacts with oxygen across an
electrochemical cell similar to that of a battery to produce electricity,
water, and small amounts of heat.
Hydrogen can be used in fuel cells to generate power using a chemical
reaction rather than combustion, producing only water and heat as
byproducts. It can be used in cars, in houses, for portable power, and in
many more applications.
