It is a word that adds to the meanings of NOUN/Pronoun.

There are TWO ways that an adjective can be used.
Ali is an intelligent student. Attributive use
Ali is intelligent. Predicative use
He is a good player. I like Chinese food. He is honest.

2. Adjective of Quantity: How many or How much of a NOUN.


There are many students in the class. I have twenty books.
Do you have any pen? I need some sugar.
There is little sugar in this tea. My friend got 1st position in the exam.

b. Indefinite Adjective:

3. Demonstrative Adjective:
This book is mine. That book is yours.
These books are theirs. I like those boys.

4. Possessive Adjective:
This is my book. This is his book. That is your book.
These are their books. Those are our books. That is her pen. This is Ali’s book.

5. Interrogative Adjective:
Which color do you like? I like blue color.
What book are you reading these days? I am reading English/this book these days.
Whose pen is this? This is my/his/her pen.

6. Proper Adjective:
I like Chinese food. This is Pakistani flag. Pakistan beats Indian team.
