Process

Memory Clear Types:

There are 2 types of Memory Clear Processes for deleting stored data.

RAM Clear - Deleting the Permanent Meters while keeping the setting information intact.

All RAM Clear (ALL Memory Clear) - Deleting all memory including setting information and backup
data.

CAUTION!
࣭For both types of Memory Clear, all meter information stored will be deleted and reset. When
updating software on the machine, always perform a All RAM Clear.
࣭When executing All RAM Clear, all of the settings will also be reset. Take note of all settings including
PROGRESSIVE SETTINGS before executing All RAM Clear.

CAUTION!
If a game is linked through ARUZE LINK, always check the following conditions before booting and
setting.
࣭The EGM and the system controller are connected.
࣭The System Controller is already boot up when setting the EGM and when rebooting after
the setting changes.

Memory Clear Procedure
Which Memory Clear operation is executed depends on whether or not the button is pressed during the
process.

1. Open the Lower Door. (Fig A)

2. Turn the Machine power OFF. (Fig B)
3. Open the Security Cage Front Cover. (Fig C)
4. Turn the Reset/Audit key switch to RESET. (Fig D)
5. Turn the Machine power back ON.
6. The following message will appear: “Turn the key to the neutral position. The memory Clear
method is selected the key operation”

The procedure above is the same for both RAM Clear and All Memory Clear.
Which Memory Clear is done depends on the next procedure. (Move on to next page.)

 < In the case of RAM Clear >

7. Turn the Reset / Audit key switch to neutral.

8. Next, turn the Reset / Audit key switch to AUDIT.

9. Finally, turn the Reset / Audit key switch to neutral.

10. RAM Clear is completed when RAM CLEAR completed is displayed on the screen.

NOTE:
To cancel RAM Clear in the middle of the process, turn the key switch towards RESET at step 8.

< In the case of All RAM Clear (ALL Memory Clear) >

7. While pressing , turn the Reset / Audit key switch to neutral

10. Let go of .
11. ALL RAM CLEAR COMPLETED is displayed on the screen.
12. ALL RAM CLEAR is completed when the game completes boot up sequence and Settings screen is
displayed.

NOTE:
To cancel ALL RAM Clear in the middle of the process, turn the key switch towards RESET at step
8.
