1. Describe about the size, position and function of electronics’ components based on the diagram
of this light operated relay circuit.

Light Operated Relay Circuit

Answer :
1. Resistor
A resistor is a passive two terminal electrical component that implements electrical resistance as a
circuit element. In this circuit there are 7 resistors, namely R1 to R7. The posistion of resistor in the
circut is in the form of a zigzag. In this circuit resistor is used to block or limit the flow of
electricity.

2. Capacitor
A capacitor is a two-terminal, electrical component. Along with resistors and inductors, they are
one of the most fundamental passive components we use. You would have to look very hard to find
a circuit which didn't have a capacitor in it. In this circuit there are 4 capacitors, namely C1,C2,C3
and C4. The position of the capacitor in this circuit is that it looks like two parallel lines. The
functions of the capacitor (condenser) include being able to select radio waves in the tuner circuit,
as a current leveler in the rectifier and also as a filter in the Power Supply Circuit.

3. Integrated Circuit ( IC )
Integrated Circuit or abbreviated as IC is an Active Electronic Component consisting of a
combination of hundreds, thousands and even millions of Transistors, Diodes, Resistors and
Capacitors which are integrated into an Electronic Circuit in a small package. In this circuit there
are 2 Integrated Circuit namely IC1 and IC2. IC position in the circuit is a triangular-shaped
component. The function of the IC used is to regulate or control the electric voltage flowing in the
circuit.

4. Dioda
This component consists of combining two semiconductors, each of which is doped differently
(addition of material), and additional conductor material to conduct electricity. In this circuit there
is one dioda namely D1. In this circuit dioda is used to rectify the current.

5. Battery
I in this circuit requires a battery to supply power of 9v. its position is the far left of the circuit
drawing and its function is to supply power to the circuit.

6. Potensiometer
The potentiometer is a three-terminal resistor with a sliding connection forming an
adjustable voltage divider. If only two terminals are used, the potentiometer acts as a
variable resistor or Rheostat

2.a. The first man is Mr. Tono, he is the man there who wears a cowboy hat and a red shirt. he is short
and slightly fat. Mr. tono is a very friendly person, he likes to say hello and even helps others. The second
man, is Mr. Hardi he was wearing a white t-shirt and gray trousers. He was tall and his hair was a little
messy. He is also a very good person, he helped me at that time when I fell off the bike. The third man is
Mr. Bayu, he is the man there who weare a blue t-shirt and brown trousers. He was tall and has good hair.
he is my neighbor, he is the person likes to make jokes so we laugh.

The fourth man who wears green t-shirt and black trousers, who has thin hair, his name are Mr.
Sopo. He is a slightly fierce and resolute person, but he’s also nice person just dont make him angry. The
last one, she is Mrs. Tina, the woman who wears black blouse and white trousers. She is beautifull, tall and
slim, she is also has a nice hair. She has a daughter who named as Sheilla. Mrs. Tina is also my neighbor
and she is a good mom.
