LEVEL OF PEACE

PERSONAL AND
INTERPERSONAL

LYNLY LOU B. PAIRAT

Personal Peace means peace with
oneself.
● When you have personal peace, it means
you accept yourself the way you are, no
matter how you look outside, or what you
think about yourself: spirit, soul, and body.

● This also comes as a result of a deep and

better personal understanding.
5 Importance of personal
peace:
1. It improves our ability to focus our mind.
2. It helps us to show patience and tolerance.
3. It provides us the ability to sleep better.
4. It enables us to enjoy happiness.
5. It improves our relationships with others.
Have you discovered yourself
yet?
HOW CAN YOU FIND PERSONAL
PEACE?
Here are three basic steps in finding personal peace:

STEP 1: Self-reflection

STEP 2: Self-discovery

STEP 3: Self-improvement
Self-reflection
● Make time to stop and really think about who you are.
● Quiet meditation and reflection will allow you to refocus
your mind and concentrate on your inner self, and allow
you to examine the way you “see” yourself.
● Self-reflection allows you to explore your individual
personality, natural preferences, values, beliefs,
preferred styles and tendencies in order to become
self-aware.
Self-Discovery
The process of self-discovery is broken down into four segments:

1.Self-awareness - Increasing understanding of who you are, your

personal characteristics, your tendencies, your emotions, your needs, and
your value.

2.Interest Awareness- Establishing your personal interests.

3.Hopes and Dreams - Listing your hopes and dreams for the future.

4.Career Discovery - Finding a career that corresponds to your

personality and interests.
SELF-IMPROVEMENT:

After self-discovery comes

self-improvement, and all of
the two terms are referred to
as personal development.
This is because you only
develop, improve, or grow
what exists.
INTERPERSONAL
PEACE
An interpersonal peace is a
peace between a person and
another person.
How do you find
interpersonal peace?

STEP 1: PERSONAL PEACE - Harmony with

self. (Self-respect, Inner resources: hope, love)

STEP 2: INTERPERSONAL PEACE: Harmony

with others. (Respect for other persons,
Justinice, Tolerance, Cooperation)
Interpersonal level:

a. Assertiveness - the ability to communicate your needs,

feelings, opinions, and beliefs in an open and honest
manner without violating the rights of others.
b. Respect - how you treat others.
c. Concern to others - worrying less about ourselves.
d. Cooperation - working together and getting along with
others.
e. Open-Mindedness- willingness to try new things or to
hear and consider new ideas.
f. Humility- taking responsibility for your own actions.
Inner personal peace leads to
interpersonal peace.
It is still our individual responsibility to
live in peace with ourselves, and with
other people around us.
NO GOD.
NO PEACE.
KNOW GOD.
KNOW PEACE.
