Kindled Mind is a co-working space that aims to provide an environment

for students and independent professionals who are in need of a space that is conducive

for learning, sharing ideas and meeting deadlines. The proponents have identified the

growing demand of students and freelance workers who endeavor to break the isolation

of their homes and distraction of coffee shops to find a convivial environment that allows

them to interact, share, build and co-create. Kindled Mind aims to provide facilities that

are suitable for productivity and creativity.

OUR MISSION

OUR VISION

C. Background of the Study

Nowadays, coffee shops and sometimes fast food chains have been a go-to

place for students when libraries are not available or professionals alike who want to

catch up with work after office hours. However, the facilities of these places are not built

for a learning environment and could also get uncomfortable for long-term work or study.

In response to this need, co-working spaces or study hubs have been

established to attend the growing number of students and independent professionals who

are in need of a conducive place to be productive. Co-working spaces provide facilities

that are designed to cater people who seek to find a comfortable environment that favors

meetings and creativity. Practically these are small hubs who enable users to use their

private spaces for a fee.

D. Objectives of the Study

a) To offer facilities that enhance productivity and allows creativity to proliferate.

b) To ensure the success and completion of the business.

c) To ensure customer satisfaction and become one of the market leaders.

d) To provide a good ambience ideal for conducive learning and getting the work

done.

e) To offer an affordable space that allows people to innovate ideas through

collaboration and meetings.

E. Methodology of Data Gathering

The proponents used different techniques in gathering information to support the

study.

E1. Survey

The proponents conducted a survey among 60 respondents to get their opinion

regarding study hub/ co-working space business. The population used in the study

consists of students and freelancers around the area of Cavite particularly in Dasmarinas

City, identified via Facebook, an online social media platform and from where they have

completed a self-administered survey sent to them using google forms. It was used so that

the proponents would be able to know the respondent’s perception and preference

regarding their proposed business.

E.2 Sampling Techniques

The researchers used a random sampling procedure and utilized nonprobability

sampling or convenience sampling in which respondents are chosen based on their
convenience and availability to gather information from the target market.

E.3 Survey Questionnaire

For the proponents to gather information and collect important data regarding the
customers’ taste and preferences, the researchers employed Survey Questionnaires
through google form and had a total of 60 respondents. In this process, we were able to
determine the demand of our proposed service.
