Sometimes it's the journey that teaches you a lot about your destination, Especially the journeys that we

can relate with our real life. Now let's take a one step to know how the Economic department started
and growth over time at east delta university, that we should know.

1. The day economic department was introduced into the EDU family, six years back from now.
2. Admission fair
3. ADVISNG meeting: Our honorable advisors guiding us throughout the semester
4. Meraki: which is our final assessment of AA.200 course. The course helps us to develop our
extra curriculum skills and basics that we need to know for our successful university life.
5. Thesis presentation by our seniors presented to the panel.
6. On march 2020, the covid-19 outbreak affected the country which hence affected all the
educational institutions. It was decided by the government to go into lockdown. Our university,
East delta university being the first one, took the initiative to continue the classes over online
platforms so that the lockdown didn’t hamper the study life of students.
7. Study tour organized by the Decon in previous years.
8. Co-curriculum: Several workshops were organized and guest lecture were invited to enlighten us
about new topic.
9. Some get together pleasant memories.
10. We started our journey with few peoples but now we have become a big family. Where we can
gather beautiful and memorable memories for our future.

Even though there had many ups down, but the journey of economics department over time is very
meaningful and worth it. There had been lots of think to learn throughout the journey. Best wishes for
