Lavish Community Café

By: Ong Yu Han

As a dessert lover and a huge fan of instagrammable cafes, it’s not

surprising that my favourite restaurant is Lavish Community Cafe. It is a
tropical-themed cafe which was previously known as Lavish Fusion Bakery.

Lavish Community Cafe is located at a heritage shop along the bustling

Victoria Street and is ornamented with pink walls, plants, and beautiful
mural arts which depict the elements of strong nature and tropical vibes. As
you enter the cafe, you are welcomed by a delightful setting of small potted
plants. In the cafe, you can have a wonderful view of the workshop-like
kitchen where you can see the chefs working.

The thing that I like the most about the cafe is their interior design.
Lavish Community Cafe embodies a local-chic mix of traditional furniture
and mural art. Every single corner of the cafe is picturesque and suitable for
instagrammable shots. Besides, the menu offers a wide variety of mouth-
watering desserts. Sakura Souffle is their bestseller, and also my favourite
desserts there, with whipped, eggy Japanese pancakes as the foundation. It
is delectable when paired with Sakura ice cream, which has an earl grey
aftertaste.

Despite the high prices of their food and customer service, I really
love the tropical environment of the Lavish Community Cafe. Therefore, I
highly recommend this cafe to my friends.
