Barbara’s Heritage Restaurant Review

It was started as a family business of catering in Olongapo City and brought into an iconic Filipino-
inspired restaurant in the walled city of Intramuros. The business was just a small café serving sandwiches and a
few years later it became associated and concessionaire in big companies and boomed in the food industry.

One of the main highlights of this restaurant is their live entertainment and music, where they incorporate
Philippine culture during their performances.

The restaurant was of 18th-century architectural design with the ambiance of the Spanish colonial
period. It is situated in the heart of Plaza San Luis Complex, General Luna St, Intramuros, Manila, 1002 Metro
Manila.

Barbara’s Heritage Restaurant is a place wherein you can experience a blast from the past for its theme
known for its quaint old-world ambiance of the Spanish Era with much to say with its ambiance, service, food,
entertainment like a cultural show, and the dining experience.

As you came in into Barbara’s Heritage Restaurant it seems that you were instantly transported to the
bygone era. It is accentuated with the glamorous chandeliers and antique wood furniture carvings that make the
place even more authentic. The restaurant serves in a buffet style of dining wherein it served Filipino
authentic cuisine inspired by colonial time. The food was great and made out of the freshest and quality
ingredients which are evident in its scrumptious taste. Foods are well presented and replenish them all the time.
The service in this restaurant was incredibly amazing because of its very responsive and polite staff. They used
to greet and served with a smile to give people a warm welcome. They used to cater cultural entertainment to
give a glimpse into our rich history that made what Filipinos are now in the present. They used to practice
cleanliness inside and out of the facility even in the kitchen and dining area. Due to its cozy profile, people
think that it a very pricy restaurant, but it's not. The foods are very affordable and sumptuous at the same time.

As for me, I highly recommend this Barbara’s Heritage Restaurant not only for the adult but for the
whole family. In here, we cannot only enjoy the cozy place and delicious foods but we can also learn bits of our
history.

For me, this restaurant is amazingly excellent! Combining the Filipino home cuisine and history plus the
fact of giving you the home ambiance while dining is an extraordinary thing.
